A "brick-and-tar" store

Contrary to the so-called "virtual" stores that are built on the Internet,
a "brick-and-tar" store refers to a real, substantial store.

But I wonder if there's any other expression to indicate that meaning?
To be totally honest, "brick-and-tar" sounds relatively casual to me.

Brick-and-mortar business is a common phrase. I don't know of a more formal name.
