I am looking for some help with this phrase: "A big step". In Spanish (un gran paso) the phrase can stand alone and it makes perfect sense. But can you do the same in English or does the phrase "a big step" have to be continued by, for example, "forward", "in...", "up..." etc??
Best regards,
Helena

You needn't add anything, I think, but it certainly needs context. Would you like to supply some?
