Vocabulary

a big city

XXX is the biggest city in this country.
XXX is a big city.

I think these sentences mean XXX has a lot of population, tall buildings etc, like New York, Paris, and Tokyo.

When you want to talk about the big size of a city, I mean, a city with huge land but not many people or buildings, how do you say?

Thank you.

Thank you for the reply, MIG. Are these correct;

I think it wont be incorrect to say "big" but I am sure "large" fits better in that context.
