Hello Deepa,

Perhaps a rule would help you more than a list of words?

If the word begins with a vowel sound, then use "an".

If the word begins with a consonant sound, then use "a".

"Hour" sounds very like "our", so you say "an hour".

The N in "an" makes a smooth transition between the two words.

Try saying "a hour"
