A [An] + Adjective + Rain

Hello everyone. I have a question.

I'm wondering when to use a/an before the addictive + rain construction. I did a quick research and made a hypothesis within my ability. Could you please correct it? --

A a + adjective + rain

We had a [ light / heavy / warm / cold / fine / gentle / steady / constant / pouring / driving / tropical / monsoon ] rain yesterday.

B no article + adjective + rain

We had [ spring / autumn / overnight / intermittent / persistent / continuous / patchy / lashing / torrential ] rain yesterday.

Top answer

seagull I'm wondering when to use a/an before the addictive adjective + rain construction. That is a very funny mistake, seagull! Look up the word 'addictive' if you don't know what it means.
