A 4-week holiday a year can make employees do better at their jobs. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In this day and age, with stresses and strains of work, people need many holidays to take rest. It is argued that workers will do their job effectively, should they get a 4-week holiday per year. From my perspective, while I agree with such viewpoint, I believe that a 4-week holiday a year is too long.

On the one hand, it is undeniable that due to the challenging economic climate, there are still numerous employees devoting almost all their time on work at company, even at home. Therefore, a long holiday makes great contribution to their life with the aim of coping with the pressure of job. Moreover, should they have a 4-week holiday per year, they can balance both of mental health and physical health, which exert positive effects on the quality of work. For example, for software engineers, their job is related to creation of their brains so they regularly get strains of work due to deploying their brains. A long holiday can support them to release the pressure.

On the other hand, I consider that a long holiday can lead to laziness for workers as they come back to work after resting a long time. Inasmuch as, they, in all likelihood, immersed themselves in happiness of parties or social events that they had; hence, with the thoughts of the happiness, feelings of being lazy for their jobs can bring an ineffective result. Furthermore, being out of deadline, in all probability, occurs, if employees have a 4-week holiday. It is because although they are on holiday, the day is still working day for people living in another country as two companies working together live different countries.

In conclusion, owing the aforementioned arguments, to some extent I concur that a 4-week holiday should have to employees, I would also argued that it still has some drawbacks for the workers.
