90's music or 90s' music or '90s music

90's music or 90s' music or '90s music? Which one is correct in grammar? I have seen the first a lot but I feel like the second is correct.

Although I asked this before, I still have a doubt about correct usage of them so which one is correct or preferred?

What do you native English speakers think? Thank you so much as usual in advance.

There are three issues here. The first is whether there should be a leading apostrophe indicating the omission of the digits "19". The second is whether "90s" needs an apostrope to form the plural ("90's").

  • I would say "no" to all three and therefore write "90s music".

Thank you so much and I have another question then. I can see those That '70s show and the best song of the '90s, etc patterns so often and then can '90s music be correct or this is a different case from the examples above? Or do you just think that the leading apostrophe indicating the omission of the digits "19" is not necessary? And then would you vote for That 70s show

Some people prefer to use a leading apostrophe. This is not wrong. However, I don't personally think it is necessary. As far as the leading apostrophe is concerned, there is no difference between "90s music", "70s show", "best song of the 90s", or anything else.
