80s movie macabre

elviras movie macabre , about people going to a carnival , where there was a hypnotist at one point he carved chunks of meat out of a womans throught, she acted fine through the whole thing and after, untill the hypnosis wore off then died, from what i remember , a group of people pretty much couldnt die , they goofed around like hanging themselve , without death, in probably remembering to movies like their one, cause it was so long ago.
