7 questions that I need help rephrasing or correcting please help

Could you please help me with these sentence?

1 You either leave your clothes in the drier for longer at a lower temperature or less time at a higher temperature and risk shrinking your clothes.
2 Since there are two switches for the same light, sometimes you find yourself pushing upwards sometimes downwards.
3 I'd eat well too if I had 30 dollars a day to spend on food. I only have ten. (is the word WELL?)
4 He coughed till he got the phelgm out.
5 Everyone but him in his family drinks, as he was more sheltered from that lifestyle having been with his mom growing up.
6 I'm goingt to clean the house for when the guest get here./Save the bag for when i need one.
7 The sheet is too small for the bed, you can't get it down on all four corners without it coming up. (how would you say the last part?)

8 Its nice you came when my parent are out./while you're parents are out.
