6 sentences need major help with choosing the right word
Could you help me choose the right word please?
1 The whole experience brought the 2 of them closer./got them closer.
2 If it's to say useless things than don't even bother saying them./If you are going to say...
3 You cost me my bid for/to re election by coming forth with these accusations that... (can you say this?)
4 need to stay strong during/in these difficult times.
5 Something told/tells me something bad was going to happen.
6 Who would have thought that she would have won./would win.
There are a couple of things I need to do before/until I can go out
