My question is which punctuation should be used to separate digits (six millions) in US English: 6.000,000. Is it correct?

Hi!! Thank you! so i can write something like 6,000,000 units of Heparin, right? Or the rule applies only to money?

The rule is universal; I just used money for an example, sorry. Commas are used before the period that separates whole units from decimal fractions, and no marks are used after the period.
