Hi!
It's said that in spite of having four times as many words as the next contender, English has a very small number of words in daily use.
Want to know what that number is these days and where they can be found, such as a dictionary, bookelt etc.

I would think it is simply impossible to count any such thing ... esp in speech -
there are some big studies of "corpora" of language use - but they still dont really show what you suggest, as far as I know but you might get some idea from following this link
