5 years teaching OR a 5 year teaching?

Let me offer my opinion and thinking from more than 5 years teaching as an ESL teacher.

Q1) Is the underlined part different from this pattern?: a 50 minute lecture (a 50 minute lecturing)

Q2) Should I say 50 minutes lecturing?
