Hello, could you please help me with the sentences below? I would really appreciate your help.
1. The materials practice the use of various linguistic and grammatical forms.
2. A further very important advantage is incorporation of various elements of the culture of English speaking countries into the course.
3. Mastering new abilities and pieces of knowledge is monitored thanks to various homework activities.
4. Presenting new issues in an accessible way, thorough preparation for classes and demanding system of work have borne fruit (is this expression informal?) / have resulted in various achievements
5. As far as my A-levels results are concerned, I have received 95% in a writing exam on a basic level and 90% in an oral exam on an advanced level (I'm speaking about 2 different levels of A-levels)

The materials are not practicing anything. I believe the students are practicing. You'll need to change this one. Please try again.

2. A further very important advantage is the incorporation of various elements of the culture of English speaking countries into the course. OK as changed. Even so, it's a bit wordy toward the end. Maybe you could recast it as two sentences.

3. Mastering new abilities and new pieces of knowledge is monitored ~~thanks to~~ through various homework activities.

4. ~~Presenting~~ The presentation of new issues in an accessible way, a thorough preparation for classes, and a ~~demanding system of work~~ rigorous work schedule [have borne fruit / have resulted in various achievements]. Both OK.

5. As far as my A-levels results are concerned, I have received 95% in a writing exam on a basic level and 90% in an oral exam on an advanced level. OK.

I would have one more question :
Are these sentences ok?

My successes include first place in the county English Language Contest ‘People’ and the grade ‘B’ in the nationwide English Language Contest ‘Eagle’.

My children do their homework assignments willingly and prepare for classes with pleasure.
My children do their homework assignments and prepare for classes with pleasure (I mean both activities are pleasant for them).

As for the word 'grade', is it really a mistake if I have written 'the grade 'B'' instead of 'a grade B' ...I have already handed in my paper and I can't change it..

I have googled 'the grade A'; 'received the grade B', etc. and there are a lot of hits, for example, there is a story by F. Scott Fitzgerald ' Head and Shoulders', which starts with such words :

"In 1915 Horace Tarbox was thirteen years old. In that year he took the examinations for entrance to Princeton University and received the Grade A~~excellent~~-in Caesar, Cicero, Vergil, Xenophon, Homer, Algebra, Plane Geometry, Solid Geometry, and Chemistry"
Another sentence is, for example:
"A course in which the grade A, B, C, D, or P (undergraduate students only) is received is counted toward degree requirements"
(In the second example, maybe 'the' has been used as they have already mentioned these grades before in the text?)
The first example is the beginning of a story so nothing has been said about this 'grade' before...

The program has crossed out the word 'excellent'..it shouldn't be crossed out :

Hi,

Just a minor comment on the following sentence...

I would use scored instead of received there; it sounds better to me.

But maybe it is just me.
