Hello.
I need sombody (possibly a native speaker) to help me with some sentences:
- Central Europe has recently become a centre for the illegal trade in women and children. (is “trade in women” correct?)
- According to the estimates of 'La Strada', an organisation helping women who have been forced into prostitution, about five thousand victims are abducted annually and lured into western brothels, night clubs, massage salons and peep shows against their will.(is “lured...against their will” correct here, I mean “lure” means sth like: to encourage sb to go somewhere using deception or something that gets your attention or makes you interested in it – and you go there by your own free will )
- (it’s about sex business) If they try to rebel, they are beaten into submission, kept in confinement and given neither food nor money. The pimps earn between five hundred and five thousand euros per person. (Is “the pimps” correct or maybe “the” should be dropped?)
- The most terrifying aspect of illegal adoption, however, is the use of children for sexual purposes by pseudo parents who often turn out to be paedophiles or producers of pornographic films. (is “the use of correct” or should it be “is using children..”?)
- Undoubtedly, being a tycoon in the illegal sex business is hardly a source of pride, is it? (shouldn’t it be: “isn’t it?”)
Thank you
