5 kilowatt-hours: Countable or uncountable?

Hi all,

A bit of help, please: Would you say "5 kilowatt-hours were produced" or "5 kilowatt-hours was produced"? I'm leaning towards the latter, but since it's a plural noun and all...

Thanks in advance!

My opinion too. Always good to check, though. Thanks, CJ.
