4th of July Holiday

Do you capitalize Holiday in the phrase 4th of July Holiday?

Top answer

Hi Anon The name of that American holiday is Independence Day. Since "July" is the name of a month, that word is always capitalized. I would not capitalize "holiday" since that is not part of the name of the holiday.
