"40 million in cars" what is the unit?

Hi,

Would you tell me how I should read it? I see no unit so can't be sure.

"There must be at least 40 Million in cars down here."

Thanks,
M

There is indeed no unit, so read it like you see it; you have no choice.

I see, so I'll take it with the unit, USD. I don't know if cars can be that expensive but the story is about Gumball rally. I hope racing cars cost that much.

thanks anyway,
M

Well, it says 'cars' – $40 million in 80 cars is only half a million a car.
