4 times bigger than/ as big as

A is 4 times bigger than C. B is 4 times as big as C. Is A bigger than B?

A=4C+C=5C, so A=5C and B=4C . A then is bigger than B. i can't believe anyone would say they are equal. i only wish i had posted soon after you posed this question. hope you see the answer though ( the correct answer).

Anonymous. i can't believe anyone would say they are equal.
As Mr M said eight and a half year ago, "Native speakers are generally not mathematical logicians".Most of us, however, know that the pronoun 'I' is written with a capital letter and that sentences end with a full stop (period).
