Could you please help me correct these sentences? How would you naturally say these?
1 From here to paris is 3 times as far as from Paris to NY./is one third times as far as...
2 This cost 4 times as much as that./one forth as much as that.
If you take 2 planes instead of one, your chances of getting into a crash are multiplied by 2/are increased by 100 percent/increased by 2/increased by 2 times the amount.
3 If you take 1 plane instead of 2, your chances of crashing are decreased by 2.
