4 Sentences having to do with haircut

What do you think about these?

1 Cut off as little as possible/ Cut off as little hair as possible.

2 If you charged 20 dollars instead of 10 you'd only have to have half the clients you already need to have in order to make the necessary amount. If you charge double, you'd only need half the clients to make what you make at 10 dollars a head.

3 Give me the haircut you think would look best on me./ Give me the haircut you think I'd look best with.

4 Remember how you cut my hair as I want you to cut it just like this next time.

5 She cut your hair just fine./She cut your hair alright. Don't worry about it.

Thank you

Hi,

What do you think about these?

As a general comment, I'd say that in the real world most of these would sound rather rude because you have not said 'please'.

Best wishes, Clive

can you say :
1 Cut off as little hair as possible? instead of Cut of as little as possible?

3 Give me the haircut you think would look best on me./ Give me the haircut you think I'd look best with.

Is the 2nd alternative wrong?

Thanks

Hi,

1 Cut off as little hair as possible? instead of Cut of as little as possible?

You can say both, although they sound rude, but the former also sounds stupid because it overstates the obvious.

Even the .atter states the obvious a bit, by using the verb 'cut' when itis obvious that the person's job is to cut.

3 Give me the haircut you think would look best

For number 3 I want to know if they are grammatical and which sounds natural and how you'd say what I'm trying to say.

Thanks Clive
