Could someone take a look at the grammar?

I personally think they're fine

  • She was about to fall asleep when a misquito came buzzing in her ear. Minutes later she could feel it on her, so she smacked her tigh trying to kill it.

  • Right when I felt the computer was going to crash I shut it off.

  • she pulled the rope taut to take up the slack/to get rid of the slack.

  • Does the mayor of a city have to live in the city he's mayor of?

  • When he screams, it means he's having trouble coping with...
