4 questions I need help with please? thank you

1 I have 10 gigabytes of music/worth of music.
2 The hot water isn't on at a max at its boiling hot, so imagine if it was on the hottest.
3 Dishwashing soap needs water to bubble./lather. if you use it dry it won't work.
4 Do the dishes in three steps, first scrub and get all the grease out than rinse and finally go back in detail and make sure its spotless. (would you use GO BACK IN DETAIL)
People say "don't leave the water running, 3rd world countries don't have any clean water" I say "it's not like me not leaving the water running is going to make a difference."

for number 2, I'm trying to say that the water is boiling hot when the lever is a little closer to the cold than the hot, so imagine how hot it'd be when the lever is on hot.

but "The hot water isn't on at a max at its boiling hot, so imagine if it was on the hottest."

I want to know if you can say "on at a max" as in "the volume is on at a max"
