4. New parents should attend parenting courses to bring up their children well. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

It is often argued that couples who will soon become parents had better enroll in parenting classes in order to be conscious of how to raise their offspring well. Personally, I completely disagree with this point of view and this essay will shed some light on this occurrence to support my idea.

To begin with, a great deal of advocates is inclined towards the fact that the parenthood preparation courses are totally unavailable for parents especially those who often struggle financially. There are still many parents who are living under poverty; hence, they cannot afford the tuition fees needed for attending regular parenting classes though aware of the benefits these classes bring beforehand. Furthermore, a big number of parents must work overtime on a regular basis, even on weekends, merely to make ends meet. They are often occupied with the responsibilities of supporting the family and the aspirations of being motivated in their career path, therefore become extremely busy enrolling in the training courses.

On top of that, classes for new parents are unnecessary due to the fact that parenting is the innate skill that every mother and father naturally have without any formal support and interference over hundreds of years. Forming and developing parenting abilities is a constant process made from not only the instinct of the parents but also from people and cultural influences surrounding, which can save a less amount of money than attending the traditional training classes. More vitally, experiences collected from trial, error, and getting to know more of their children, such as by regularly standing by their side or share stories with them, may equip adults in the path to become successful parents. To illustrate, mothers naturally know how to cuddle, show their infinite love, and take care of their newborn babies without any guidance or intervention from outsiders.

In conclusion, parenthood preparation classes are unnecessary because of the unavailability in the finance and time of new parents as well as the instinctive skill that every parent has already have for them. Thus, they should not take part in these courses.
