4 Hard Sentences need help with PLEASE

Could you please help me correct these please?

1 When the interest rates are so high and you only pay off the minimum per month you never pay off the stuff, only the interest.
2 I'll try to hand/pass off the euro as a dollar. (give them a euro and act as if it was dollars you were giving them) Can you say that?
3 I could have bought it but It would have meant that I would have had to get 2 jobs.
4 The detectors at the front of the store rang. She had stolen stuff.
