3rd person singular s

Hi, I have read this sentence snip some where:
.....let everybody know about that subject ...

Why the verb know here doesn't give the s? Isn't the everybody 3rd person!?

Know about that subject is a non-finite clause functioning as complement to the verb let. Everybody is object of let.

This could suggest to some learners that the imperative and the (bare) infinitive are essentially the same. I prefer to say something like We use the base form of the verb for the imperative and infinitive (as well as other things) . Just a personal preference
