0 I was born and grow up in countryside, so that I, if annything, often thought that a big city is longed-for place; actually I often hoped to live. Where I live in Japan, big cities are simbol of longing of teenagers. However, personally I agree with the opinion that countryside is better for children to grow up than a big city for the following reasons.02br
00 Primary reason is that countryside is a good place for children from infants to boy to develop sensitivity. For example, period from about five years old to twelve years old is important period for children to form their personality; the development and experience of various emotions such as sollow, pleasure, hatred are vital for them. Living countryside contains all of those elemants to develop those efficiently. The one of the reason is that in countryside there are many natural place to play for children: river, mountain or farm. Play related to nature such as swimming in a river or running through mountain advances growth of children, because an environment of playing in nature trains them not only phisically but also mentally. In a big city, on the contrary, there are little nature. Most roads are paved with asphalt; there are few place to play in nature. As a result, children cannot run freely for the danger of solid surface of roads. They choose to accept relatively consertive play such as talk to friends or playing video game in houses. It goes without saying that an environment of a big city is not good for growth of them.02br
00 Another reason is that countryside supply a clean environment so that children live safely. One example of this is that in countryside, the number of population or cars is relatively small, so that natural environment such as air or river is not pollted. In addtion, children like to play outside and have smaller body than adults. For that reason, countryside's clean characteristic fits lives of children. However, in a big city, where pollution such as a great deal of exhaust gas and polluted running water exists everywhere, infants scarcely live comfortably. Air for breathing and food for eating always made of exhaust gas and running water. Nobody should be able to recommend it, let alone children of smaller body.02br
00 My primary considerations with respect to which environment is appropriate for children, countryside or a big city are whether a place have good chance to develop sensitivity and to be healthy. Therefore, I think that countryside is better place to live for children. 0-
