3 times every six months

Hello
I know it OK to say the following
I go to the gym five times a week
I go to the gym five times a Month
I go to the gym five times a year.
But what do I say for three weeks or six months?
a three weeks? a six months?
Thanks
Phillip

Anonymous 3 times every six months "I go to the gym three times every six months" is correct English, but it is a somewhat complicated thing to say. In a regular schedule, this would simplify to "I go to the gym once every two months". Generally speaking, "I go to the gym x times every y days/weeks/months/years" is correct English.
