Hi,
I'd like to write the following sentences but before I'd like to make sure they are correct. Teacher, please help me.

How can you sleep with all this noise going on? I can't fall asleep with her sick
..... knowing she is sick.

We slept in opposite direction with our heads facing opposite directions.

How can you sleep with all this noise going on? Okay. You could omit the words "going on." How can you sleep with all this noise?
I can't fall asleep with her sick..... knowing she is sick. Better: I can't fall asleep knowing she is sick.
We slept in opposite direction
