3 Sentences

1. I can't put Johnny into that picture (movi?) even if I wanted to.

(Shouldn't it be couldn't since he uses wanted to at the end? Isn't this a conditional sentence?)

2. Have a look and let me know if you are interested. If so I will send an email to you and Eric introducing you.

3. If the Don ever asks me if this man has balls, I would have to answer yes, Hagen thought.

(Shouldn't it be will instead of would because he starts the sentence with a conditional and 'asks'.)

Please take a look at these three sentences for me.

Thank you!

3. Technically, yes. It should be 'wlll'. However, 'would' is quite common. There seems to be some additional implied condition in the phrase.

I don't see any error. Both 'can't' and 'couldn't' are common there, with the latter less confident.

Most speakers of BrE would say "... can't ... want" or "... couldn't ... wouldn't. The sentence as it stands would be considered incorrect in an examination.

The latter gives precedence to Eric. If they are of equal status, the former sentence is better.
