Could you help me with these 3 sentences?
1 He gets/finds himself in these situations where there is almost no way out.
2 The people most likely conspiring against the main characters are the ones closest to them.
3 He's a officer of lower rank and thus isn't privvy to things we are.

He gets himself into (these) situtations where there is almost no way out. ("These" can be used but is not necessary.)
He finds himself in (these) situations where there is almost no way out.
Either version is
