3 questions from 60 minutes

Dear teachers,

I saw the transcript of 60 minutes (sources: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/chobani-yogurt-billionaire-founder-on-creating-jobs-in-america/), and I have three questions as follows:

(1) So in comes this guy.

Is it an inversion?

I think it is the inversion of "So this guy comes in." Is this correct?

(2) He didn’t have any money, but he managed to get a regional bank and the Small Business Administration to split the risk of a million-dollar loan...that put Chobani in business and allowed Hamdi to hire his first five employees four of whom had been let go by Kraft.

What does "to split the risk of a million-dollar loan" mean?

Does it mean that a regional bank and the Small Business Administration wrote off the loan or postponed the payment of the loan?

(3) Hamdi spent most of his time in the plant, except to grab two meals a day at the local pizzeria owned by

another immigrant Frank Baio and his wife Betsey.

Regarding "except to grab two meals," my understanding is as follows:

• "except": preposition
• "to grab two means": to infinitive as a noun
