3 Hard sentences I need help with please?

COuld you please help me correct these 3 sentences?

1 How will you determine whether this movie is worth watching./What are the different criteria that determine whether you'll continue watching this movie 10 minutes in?

2 In the last scene of the movie, you see the two walking on the beach against the sunset/with the sunset in the background, you see the both their shadows.

3 I picture you choking to death and it saddened me to point that I cired.

These are both fine, except that "different" is redundant, in the 2nd.

Also, do you see the difference in meaning between the two sentences?
