3 Essay questions HELP ME

  1. What is the most critical sustainability issue in your country? Describe how you have taken the lead in resolving such an issue. (250 Words) *

The most critical sustainability issue in Vietnam is environmental pollution including air, water, and solid waste. Hanoi is now facing with air pollution and water pollution. The air quality is going down under the unhealthy and raising at the alarm level. The water quality on the rivers becomes to the dark colours by industry activities. People go out on those days regular wear the mask. Some of them get sick. And everyone really worry about this problem.

With the increasing number of vehicle transportation and the weather are hotter every day. The traffic is more crowd and the CO2 are much more than ever. Besides industrial activities. All of its affected to our daily lives. And our health.

The Vietnamese government has plans to address industrial air pollution by 20 percent reduction target for NOx, SOx and particulate matter emitted by cement, chemicals. Fertilizer and petroleum production facilities.

For myself. I have taken the lead in resolving these issues by small actions every day. Instead of going to work by motorbike, I choose the bus for transportation. Every weekend, I and international friends do clean the streets and recycling rubbish to the bin, plant tree.

To resolving all above issues, we need to do in a long time by the sustainable ways.

  1. Please answer on the question you have selected (250 Words) *

Economic growth: Around the world, disparity between the rich and the poor is growing. Our economic systems are exacerbating this problem by failing to put social and human concerns at the center of economic development. So how can community economic development address this?

The gap between the rich and the poor communities has increased dramatically. The disparity between them is may define by their education, their income, their employment and their housing. And we can pick out one these factor to compar its clearly in realistic. The government is securing our personal lives but also securing the property.

But as we all know that wealth inequality is inevitable and it's going to happen and the only way to stop it to make it better is through taxes and the most important issue is not what how you tax but how you distribute the tax revenue that you get that's what's going to matter all.

Our economic systems are exacerbating the situation. Poor people suffer high tax with no or less support in public services such as healthcare, education, housing and they have no employment with low incomes.

So how can community economic development address this? I think we should solve its from human’s issues. Enhancing skills is a good idea, English is really nescessary nowaday. Speaking more than one language can boost economic growth. multilingualism can fuel exports, increase salaries and help innovation. Especial for the small community in mountainous areas.

  1. The research says many key cities in Southeast Asia are negatively affected by pollution from single-use plastic and marine plastic debris. What is your solution to this issue? (250 Words) *

I totally agree with the research. Because I am one of the citizens living in one of these key cities that negatively affected by pollution from single-use plastic and marine plastic debris. Where I come from is Hanoi. This city is getting many consequences of this problem. Typically is water pollution. People throw plastic, bottles, bags, rubbish into rivers and lakes. That’s the reason why organisms living underwater are deading. People living in this area do not have fresh-air. It’s affected directly to their daily lives.

Reducing and completely replaced single-use plastic and marine plastic debris is really important more than other to build a sustainable city in the future.

So we need to launch many big campaigns with long term goals. It will help us deliver the key messages to the audience we want to target and encourage them to take actions to change their life. Maybe single actions are not enough to address plastic pollution but a series of actions like plastic recycling, saying no to single plastic use and seeking alternative energy solutions can help.

And one more thing we should call everyone using products made from organic materials and similar to natural. It’s very popular in many grocery store, coffee store in many big cities in Vietnam now.

To wrap up. Only me may not do this but us can make it becomes possible if we join hand protect our lives.
