Task: In some countries, many more people are choosing to live alone nowadays than in the past. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

In recent years, living alone has created a prevalent trend over some countries. While some people support the idea that the advantages of this inclintion would eclipse the disadvantages, others agree with the opposite side. From my own viewpoint, both pros and cons of the trend will be indicated equally.

On the one hand, there are several benefits for people that can be taken from maintaining lide on their own. Firstly, staying with their own apartment. People would be able to experience the valuable freedom and do whatever they are in favour of without being disrupted by others. Additionally, to the young, moving out of the protection from parents marks a special milestone of maturity and independence in their life, which means they have to take care of themselves with no assistance. Besides, on social perspective, the increasingly high demands for accommodation also boost the proliferation of construction industry and transaction of housing. Also, lanlords benefit from the trend with high interest from renting charge.

On the other hand, several bottlenecks can slow down anf grip the rapid growth of this trend. First and foremost, it is warned by researchers that people living alone are more likely to suffer from problems related to mental heath. This can be demonstrated by the fact that people staying in a seperated apartment have less connection with other and lack crucial sharing time with family members so they would be supressed with stress as there are no opportunity for them to speak out. Moreover, since the dicision of living alone is made, people would obviously have to deal with the pressure of financial burden as a large number of living expenses need paying from expenditure on food, clothes to water, electricity, area services and so on.

In conclusion, staying alone could bring about both benefits and drawbacks. Therefore, a careful consideration should be made before people come to the final decision.
