Let’s say that there’s a congress going on and that one of the exhibitors wants to have a 24/7 electrical connection for a refrigerator.
If I wanted to say that they have to plug the refrigerator in, could I also use the word ‘hook up’ or just ‘plug in’? For instance, “We have to set up the 24/7 electrical connection and then hook up the refrigerator to it.”
