22,222 twenty-two thousand...

Hi! Please tell me if I wrote right this number

22,222 twenty-two thousand two hundred and twenty-two

My doubt is about writting a hypen in the first twenty-two.

Thanks a lot.

Hello, Sanz. You got that right. "Twenty-two" always takes a hyphen.

'wrote this number right', not 'wrote right this number'. Emotion: smile

twenty-two thousand two hundred twenty-two.

There is no "and". And denotes a decimal, so the original way you wrote it would look like 22,200.22

Hi,

There is no "and". In British English, the 'and' is used. American English, I think, commonly omits it.

No. Decimal places are spoken as, eg point two two.

5.22 five point two two

22,200.22 twenty-two thousand, two hundred point two two
