2004 International Symposium on English for Medical Purposes
Hello! I would like to announce that I will be speaking at this symposium in Xi'an, China on October 17th, 2004. The symposium is dedicated to the teaching and language acquisition of a very career-specific target group: doctors. I will be presenting a paper 'Changing the Paradigm for English Medical Language Teaching' in keeping with the theme and the curriculum model I have designed. The symposium is hosted by Xi'an Jiaotong University. If you are attending, please do come and introduce yourself! I'd love to meet the many people I have been corresponding with around the world. .....Melodie Hull, English for Overseas Nurses, Canada
