Which word would you use please?

- I'm going to wait here to miss rush hour/so I can miss rush hour.
- I have nicely/nice colored eyes.
- Dogs can hear sounds from a mile away/from a mile. (how do you say this?)
- This song fits/suits the occasion./the situation.
- How does it work/happen. Do I just go in and ask for it.
- If only the cable was the problem and not the screen that was broken.
- I sleep at my dads more/more often than my moms.
