Essay & Composition Writing

2 short paragraphs I intend to use... Could you give them a look?

Dear Users,

Would you please devote a minute or two and point out where I should make some changes to the following statement? And possibly, if you have time, why so? Thanks.

As an educator, I consider the process of learning, and therefore the process of teaching as well, as a constantly evolving activity. I am quite sure that my teaching methods (have) evolved throughout the years and that in ten years time I will be a different language instructor to who I am now. However, there are certain key values that I uphold as a teacher and some them are unlikely to ever change.

I would like to begin with a firm belief I have been holding for numerous years now, i.e. that language learners, and especially them, are not to be considered as mere empty containers that need to be filled up with knowledge by the teacher or language instructor. More often than not, and also as a learner, have I seen or participated in classes where the teacher was considered to be the one and only source of knowledge, where the material was presented rather than construed.
