2 sentences with If

Could you please give me your opinion. Could I say:

1) If the supplier has been rejected by the Contract Manager, this decision will be documented and circulated as described in para. X and the supplier's assessment will be ceased.

2) If the supplier has been accepted by the Contract Manager, the Purchasing Department is to proceed with the supplier´s assessment.

i have the doubt on the 2nd sentence i.e. 2) If the supplier has been accepted by the Contract Manager, the Purchasing Department is to proceed with the supplier´s assessment.
as per me it could be - If the supply has been accepted by the Contract Manager, the Purchasing Department is to proceed with the supplier´s assessment. what do you think on this ritinha...

This means something different to me.

Acceptance of a supply means that it has been agreed that one order should be placed, one particular type of goods should be taken.

Acceptance of a supplier means that they want to deal with that company regularly.
