2 sentences (WHEN vs THAT / IN THE MIDDLE)

How would you say this please?

1 Is there one day when/that you did call me without me asking you to.

2 The only reason this towel is folded nicely is because I luckily folded it in the middle /I folded it by the middle aligning the edges. But I usually fold them so fast that they aren't nicely folded.

Thank you

1 Is there one day when/that you did call me without me asking you to. ) OR, if you were arguing with a sweetheart about the fact that he didn't call you unless you specifically asked him to, you might say, "Is there one day when you called me without my asking you to? ) You need to use "my" instead of "me" before asking because asking is a gerund and the possessive form accompanies a gerund.

OK, depending on the context in which this is said, you could say, "Did you call me one day that I didn't ask you to?" (this would be if you are just trying to find out if the person phoned you on a day you weren't expecting them to because you hadn't requested them to call.) OR, if you were arguing with a sweetheart

For the phrase you wrote

Did you ever call me one single day that I didn't specifically ask you to?"

Could you say

Have you ever called me one single day WHEN/THAT I didn't specifically ask you to?
