2 sentences having trouble

How would you say these 2 sentences please?

1 You'll eat better if you win. When you lose you don't have an appetite.

2 The stations are much longer on this subway line. (does that make sense: takes longer to get to the next station?)

Thank you

" The reason is that I cannot imagine what "better eating" may represent. It's likely to be demonstrating of good manners while eating than eating greater amounts of food with greater enthusiasm. " As I understand it, a station is a place where people wait for a train.

  • It's likely to be demonstrating of good manners while eating than eating greater amounts of food with greater enthusiasm.
  • " As I understand it, a station is a place where people wait for a train.
  • Though subway stations' lengths may differ (at least they do in Moscow =)), I believe that you meant the distance between stations, but not stations' lengths.
  • Finally, "it takes longer to get to the next station" perfectly makes sense for me.

represent. It's likely to be demonstrating of good manners while
eating than eating greater amounts of food with greater
enthusiasm.

The sentence #2 I would rewrite as fol
