Can someone correct the following sentences?

1 He hates his mom. I wish I felt like he does for my mom./ I wish I felt for my mom the way he does his mom.

2 For some reason people have prejudgments/prejudices that girls do a better job of everything than boys.

3 We're not high enough for you to die instantly if you were to jump.

1. He hates his mom. This is fine.

I wish I felt like he does for my mom.

The first option is not the sentence you want to go with, because in that sentence it is unclear who "he" feels towards in a certain way. He could feel a certain way towards your mother, or someone else.

I wish I felt for my mom the way he does his mom.

This sentence is much better because now you have specified who *he* feels about, namely, his own mother. It also has a better flow to it and seems less jumbled. However, there is still a minor problem with the sentence. "He does his mom" could mean that he is doing something to his mom, but you want to express that he is feeling a certain way toward his mother. So you want to insert the preposition,"for". Another thing that we try to avoid in the english language is something that we like to call "wordiness", which is when you use the same word over and over again even when it's not necessary. You also want to insert "same" before "way", which is an adjective that expresses how closely you wish to be to this other guy. With this in mind, you could change the sentence to, "I wish I felt for my mom the same way he does for his". You have the preposition for in there, and then you avoid having to use the word "mom" twice in the same sentence. The reader will know who you are referring to, because earlier in the sentence you already specified that it was a feeling towards mothers.

2 For some reason people have prejudgments/prejudices that girls do a better job of everything than boys.

The word I've always grown up using is prejudices, and when I looked up prejudgments on dictionary.com it said it was primarily used in England, so I would go with prejudices.

3 We're not high enough for you to die instantly if you were to jump.

This sentence seems ok to me. The only thing you might want to watch out for is your switching from "we" to "you". Is it the case that both of them might end up jumping, or are they both high up and only one wants to jump? If only one wants to jump and both of them are high up, then you're ok.

Sorry just wanted to clarify something. When I mentioned "wordiness", I was referring to "mom". You use mom twice in the last sentence and I think it sounds better to avoid that. You won't necessarily get penalized for using mom twice, but when anybody is reading something, they find it annoying if they run into the same word more than once when it can be avoided.
