2 questions about adverb and preposition

Is this sentence properly constructed? I don't know if I understand it
'Point to that'? How would you construct it?
What can you point to that won you the game tonight? [Press conference question to sports coach]

Is 'in' correct?
No good in trying to score. [Commentator say this after a shot is missed.] Is 'in' correct?
