I want to write that some professions turns to be unnecesary, can you please let me know how I can add it to my text? I would apperciate if you can let me know if the second following phrase is written correctly?

I think they were swept away by a Tsunami. A tsunami is the term used today to describe the disruptive innovation that makes so many of the professions unnecessary, and that is going to make the future of all of us, new and unknown.
