2 pronouns and a verb

Hello.

I have doubts about using a verb in such a sentence: "Me and my friend love to sing diffrent songs" Could we use verbs without "s" ending if a sentence is even with a 3rd person at the end? Thanks

  • Say 'I', not me.
  • The word is a subject.
  • The complete subject is plural (ie two people) so you need a plural verb .

I have doubts about using a verb in such a sentence: "Me and my friend love to sing different songs" Could we use verbs without "s" ending if a sentence is even with a 3rd person at the end?

Say 'I', not me. The word is a subject.

In this sentence the subject is plural, i.e. me and my friend = we, that`s why 3rd person at the end doesn`t matter.)

Thank you! And would it be really bad if I said "Me and my friend" instead of "I"?

I`m not an English speaker but I`d say "My friend and I". It sounds more natural to me.

Hi,

"Me and my friend"

It's common to hear that, but it makes the speaker sound uneducated.
