2 paragraph essay about how to do well at school
Please help edit this essay for my english class, my english teacher says its boring and that i have to make it more entertaining and be more clear on my first paragraph along with using better clear verbs/ modifiers
The Path to Success in Education
“In order to succeed, one’s desire for success should be far greater than one’s fear of failure.” There is no key to success without a single failure in life. Each mistake that we make in our past experiences allows us to understand why something is right or wrong. Therefore, we learn not to make the same mistakes again. One of the most common mistakes made by students is being careless in education. As one sets goals for oneself to aim for, education plays an important role for success. There are many different strategies to overcome the obstacles in education, and some strategies among them have definitely worked better than others.
An important strategy to overcome these obstacles is for students to be prepared. Preparation for school shows a person’s responsibilities as a student and prevents any surprises when they’re overwhelmed on certain assignments such as pop quizzes or unfamiliar questions. Staying organized, following directions, and being diligent are a few great methods to also help stay prepared. Understanding a concept is a major issue that students must overcome. It doesn’t matter if a student continues to memorize everything because he or she will forget within a certain time period. Subjects like math and science require students to understand how certain things are done with reasoning. Reviewing old concepts and taking notes on general ideas are good ways to help students understand difficult concepts. Although some students may not master the concept instantly, asking questions when having difficulty understanding can help clarify any confusion. Students are given opportunities to remake their mistakes if necessary. Once students have performed some of these strategies, they should obtain a satisfying grade.
