2 minutes later than?

Hi, everyone.

Could you tell me why the following sentence is not possible?

Why am I always two minutes later than you?

Can we use second degree of the adjective "late" in this way?

Thanks.

Why am I always two minutes later than you? I don't know why you think it is not possible. Comparative "later" is fine in your example.
