2 filming terms

Hi All,

Could you help me find the following terms, please? I’ve already browsed a glossary but I couldn’t find them…

What do you call the person who, during the shooting of a film, ’’clashes’’ that black-and-white object at the beginning of scenes which signals that the recording starts?

And the person who was (and is) responsible that there should be no faults in the scenes? (For example, that the glass on the table have the same amount of water in it in successive scenes, even if they were recorded at different times, or objects be placed always at the same place, etc.?)

Emotion: movie

Thank you!
